Many schools and authorities throughout the whole of Scotland are already enjoying the advantages of a Scotmech Annual Service Contract. We have serviced schools from the Shetlands and the Western Isles down to the Borders, Dumfries and Galloway and beyond, taking in Cumbria and Northumberland.

Teachers and Technicians rarely have the time or the budget to organise regular maintenance of their machinery and workshop equipment via the various suppliers and contractors capable of servicing all the components within their workshops. Scotmech take care of everything to assist you in meeting current regulations and safety responsibilities throughout the technical department ensuring that all plant complies with recommendations laid out under BS4163 2007, covering Health and Safety in workshops.

Our range of scope includes all workshop machinery, dust and fume extraction and hot metal areas.

On completion every school is presented with a Scotmech Service Report Manual detailing every machine and highlighting any faults or improvements that could be made to ensure continuing compliance with current standards. Separate sections cover Dust and Fume Extraction and Gas Inspections. Our Gas Safe Registered staff have over 40 years experience between them working on heat processing equipment in Schools, Colleges and Universities.
